Ugreen has launched the Nexode Pro 160W in Europe and the UK, offering a five-port GaN charger at £90 / €90 — significantly cheaper than the Anker Prime 160W, which sells for £130 / €129. During Prime Day, the price drops further to £56.99 in the UK and €65.99 in Germany, making it roughly half the price of its main rival for the same wattage class.

The ports

The charger packs four USB-C ports and one USB-A port. Two of the USB-C ports support Power Delivery 3.1 at up to 140W — enough for most laptops. When you're charging multiple devices, the 160W total gets distributed: two or three devices connected keeps one USB-C port at up to 100W; filling all five ports drops that to 65W per the lead slot. The remaining USB-C ports top out at 30W each, and USB-A caps at 22.5W. That's a real trade-off if you're expecting full speed on every port at once, but the port count itself beats Anker's three-port layout outright.

The display

A built-in color touchscreen rotates to stay readable at any angle on your desk. It shows real-time total output, per-port power draw, temperature, and — less practically — custom emojis. Per the Notebookcheck review, power distribution under load is stable and the display genuinely useful for diagnosing which device is pulling what. The main downside noted is the charger's bulk — it's not small.

Against Anker

The Anker Prime 160W has three USB-C ports only — no USB-A — and costs £40 more at standard retail. Ugreen's five-port layout wins on versatility, especially if you still have USB-A cables in rotation. The smart display is no longer a differentiator: both chargers have one now, making it table stakes in the 160W class rather than a selling point for either brand.

The Nexode Pro 160W debuted in the US earlier in June 2026 before rolling out to Europe. It's available now on Amazon in the UK and Germany. The Prime Day discount expires June 26, 2026.
