Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold leak confirms new Pine color and a redesigned camera block
Google's Pixel 11 Pro Fold is shaping up to look noticeably different from its predecessor. Renders published by leaker Mystic Leaks show the foldable in a new color called Pine — a muted, slightly grey-toned green that replaces the more saturated Jade finish on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The phone is set to be announced on August 12 at Google's Made by Google event, though it won't ship until October.
The camera overhaul
The bigger story is what's happening to the camera block. The new module sits flatter against the body with far less metal framing than before. Inside the block, the main and ultrawide sensors have moved to the lower section, while the telephoto lens has shifted to the upper right corner. The flash on the left side is noticeably larger than on the current model.
These changes match CAD render leaks from earlier this year that pointed to a thinner chassis and a full sensor refresh. Per Memeburn, the camera system gets a complete upgrade to 50MP main, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP periscope telephoto — the first full camera overhaul on a Pixel foldable.
Pixel Glow — maybe
Code strings found inside Android 17 Beta 4 reference a feature called Pixel Glow, which would use RGB LEDs on the back of the phone to show color-coded alerts and incoming calls — similar in concept to Nothing's notification lights. Android Authority confirmed the feature requires dedicated LED hardware, but current renders of the Pro Fold show no visible lights on the rear panel. Whether the foldable actually ships with Pixel Glow hardware remains unresolved.
Timing and price
Google will announce the full Pixel 11 lineup on August 12, but the Pro Fold won't be available until October — about three months after Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 7 and a month after an expected Apple foldable. US pricing is expected somewhere between $1,799 and $1,999, though Google hasn't confirmed a number yet. If you're planning to buy, you'll be waiting until late autumn regardless — the October window appears firm based on PhoneArena and the delay pattern Google repeated with the Pixel 10 Pro Fold last year.
