Amazon accidentally revealed Pixel 11's colors and key specs
Google's Pixel 11 launch is still a month away, but Amazon has already done most of the revealing. Product pages spotted by 9to5Toys listed images and specs for the entire Pixel 11 series — confirming hardware details and a set of color names that don't quite match each other, suggesting Google was still making last-minute changes.
The colors — sort of
The base Pixel 11 showed up on Amazon in three shades: Obsidian, Hibiscus, and Pistachio. That would be straightforward enough, except the detailed product descriptions used entirely different names — Midnight, Fuchsia, and Moss — which align with earlier leaks. It's the same phone, same colors, two different naming systems. Expect Google to settle on one set at the August 12 reveal.
The Pixel 11 Pro is listed in four options: Dune, Light Fog, Pine, and Sterling, though no renders have surfaced yet. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold will come in just two finishes — Pine and Midnight.
The specs
The Amazon listings filled in several hardware blanks. The base Pixel 11 gets a 6.3-inch 1080×2424 display, a 4,985 mAh battery (a step up from its predecessor), and 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB of storage. Earlier rumors pointed to only 8GB RAM, so the 12GB figure is a notable upgrade — though one source flagged a possible last-minute downgrade depending on memory chip supply.
The Pixel 11 Pro XL is listed with a larger 5,115 mAh battery, while the foldable Pro Fold carries a 4,750 mAh cell.
On price, the US configuration comes in at $899 for the 12GB/256GB base model. One change worth flagging: there is no 128GB option this time around. Every Pixel 11 starts at 256GB. In the UK, the base model is expected at £879 for 256GB — with pre-orders opening August 12 and retail availability from August 20.
What's next
Google has officially confirmed a Made by Google event on August 12, 2026, at 6 PM ET in New York City. The color-name inconsistency on Amazon points to tweaks still happening behind the scenes, but the core specs look solid across multiple sources. If the $899 / £879 pricing holds, the Pixel 11 lands roughly in line with Samsung's Galaxy S25 and Apple's iPhone 16 — giving buyers a genuine choice at that tier.
