PS Plus August 2025: Dying Light 2, Big Walk, and Signalis join the lineup
PlayStation Plus subscribers get three new games from August 4 through August 31, and this month's lineup punches above the usual average. The headliner is Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, joined by cooperative adventure Big Walk and psychological horror Signalis — available across Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers on the same date, with no regional rollout delays.
The lineup
Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition (PS4/PS5) is the complete package: the 2022 base game, the Firearms Update, and the Bloody Ties story DLC added in 2024. If you bounced off the original release due to early-launch roughness, the patched-up Reloaded Edition is a meaningfully better experience. It replaces Dead Island 2 and Unicorn Overlord, which depart the catalog this month.
Big Walk (PS5) is the notable surprise — a cooperative adventure from House House, the Australian studio behind Untitled Goose Game. It launches day-one on PS Plus on August 4, the same date it hits PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch 2. Sony adding it to the service on release day signals a continued push to make the subscription feel current rather than a graveyard for older titles.
Signalis (PS4) rounds out the trio. The survival horror game drew strong critical praise at launch for its dense atmosphere and unconventional storytelling — a solid pick for genre fans who missed it.
The bonus
Starting August 6, PS Plus subscribers can also claim a free bonus pack for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, Sony's upcoming PS5 fighting game. The pack includes five character avatars and 20 character poses displayed on the match results screen. The pack stays claimable until August 6, 2027, so there's no rush — but you do need a PS Plus subscription to grab it.
All three games are available to claim via the PlayStation Blog (official) starting August 4. As noted by TheSixthAxis, this month's selection compares favorably to recent lineups in terms of genre variety and overall value.
