PCCooler's FC300-CS is a modular all-in-one that lets you swap the screen or PC separately
PCCooler has unveiled the FC300-CS, an all-in-one desktop from its Hybrid series that decouples the display from the computing unit — meaning you can upgrade one without replacing the other. The global AIO market is worth around USD 15.56 billion in 2026, yet almost no mainstream product lets you swap a monitor independently of its PC brain. The FC300-CS is a direct answer to that frustration.
The build
The computing module runs an Intel Core Ultra 5 125U — a 2024 Meteor Lake chip built for efficiency, with an integrated NPU for on-device AI tasks. It's a sensible pick for a compact desktop, though it's worth noting that Intel's newer Series 2 and 3 mobile processors started shipping in early 2026, so the 125U is already a generation behind the cutting edge.
Storage and memory options are more generous than most slim AIOs: two DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM slots, one M.2 2280 PCIe/SATA slot, and a SATA III 2.5-inch bay. That's real room to upgrade RAM and add a second drive after purchase.
The screen and the idea
The display is a 27-inch QHD IPS panel running at 165 Hz with 350 nits of brightness. A 165 Hz refresh rate is usually reserved for gaming monitors; here it just makes everyday scrolling and window management feel noticeably smoother. Connectivity covers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB ports, video out, audio jacks, and an RJ45 Ethernet port.
The Hybrid concept is the real pitch: PCCooler says the display and CPU unit can be replaced independently, so you're not binned into buying an entirely new machine when one part ages out. Whether the company follows through with compatible upgrade modules is the open question — for now, no pricing or US/UK availability has been confirmed.
How it stacks up
Apple's iMac, Dell's XPS AIO, and HP's Z-series all remain sealed systems. The Framework Desktop offers component-level modularity but pairs with a separate monitor. PCCooler's integrated-yet-separable approach is genuinely different — if the upgrade ecosystem materializes. Until pricing and a ship date land, the FC300-CS is a promising concept with a few question marks still attached.
