Mix of P50, Nova 8 and Mate 50: Huawei prepares Nova 9 smartphones

Huawei unveiled the Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro smartphones in China in December 2020, and is now preparing their successors for release.

What is known

According to a Chinese insider, a series of Huawei Nova 9 smartphones will be announced in mid-September. Novelties will receive support for 5G network and, according to the source, will look better than Honor 50 smartphones. At the same time the devices will have a weaker processor. Recall, Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro come with Snapdragon 778G chips.

As for the design of Huawei Nova 9, the series will look similar to the flagships Huawei P50, as well as the yet unannounced Huawei Mate 50. By the way, according to the insider, along with the new smartphones, Huawei may also release a printer and several smart home devices in September.
