Google has released the YouTube Music app for Wear OS smartwatches, but not yours

Google has finally announced a branded YouTube Music client for the Wear OS platform.

What do we know

The application allows you to control music from the watch, add tracks to your favorite playlist, as well as change the volume. Also now it is possible to download music to the watch and listen to it without connecting to the Internet. Such a feature will be appreciated by sports fans. By the way, a similar feature recently appeared in Spotify for Wear OS.

When to expect

YouTube Music app for Wear OS is already available for download on the Play Store, but there is one nuance. According to Google, the app only works on Samsung unveiled Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic smartwatches with 5nm Exynos W920 chip and Wear OS which, by the way, are not yet on sale. When support for other models of watches on Wear OS will appear - is unknown.
