EtherRock is a JPEG image of a cartoon rock. An NFT token with it was sold earlier this week for $1,300,000.

What's going on anyway?

The EtherRock website states that there are one hundred images of cartoon rocks in the world aimlessly. There are only three things you can do with them: buy them, sell them, and be proud that you are the lucky owner of a rare drawing.

Note that two weeks ago the value of the EtherRock started at nearly $98,000, and a few days ago it was already $305,000. However, after selling the stone for $400 Ethereum ($1,300,000), the minimum price jumped immediately to $1,018,898 (305 ETH).

Recall that the market for non-interchangeable tokens, which denote ownership of a digital asset, sagged in the spring of 2021. But by the end of the first half of the year, demand began to grow again. The NFT market is now valued at more than $1,000,000,000, having nearly quadrupled in a month.
