FFALCON Thunderbird FF1: a mid-range smartphone developed by TCL and Huawei

Chinese company TCL has a sub-brand FFALCON, which is engaged in the production of TVs and home audio equipment. But now it has entered the smartphone market with the new FFALCON Thunderbird FF1.

What's on offer

What's interesting is that the smartphone is developed in a collaboration between TCL and Huawei. In general, , this is the usual representative of the middle segment with not a bad ratio of price and quality. The gadget works in 5G networks and boasts a large 6.67-inch display with picture refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Also the FFALCON Thunderbird FF1 gets a Dimensity 900 processor from MediaTek, 8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage and 4300 mAh battery with 66W fast charging. The primary camera combines a 64 MP sensor, an ultra-wide 8 MP lens and  2 MP depth sensor. There is an oblong cutout in the screen for the 16MP front camera.

How much?

The novelty will cost $385 (8/128GB) and $432 (8/256GB). Pre-sales will begin on September 6, and official will begin on September 10. No details on whether the phone will appear in international market yet.
