Insider: Huawei Nova 9 smartphone range to be unveiled on September 23

It has already been repeatedly reported online that Huawei will unveil its Nova 9 line of smartphones this month. Now an insider has revealed the exact date of the announcement.

When to expect

If the source is to be believed, the Huawei Nova 9 lineup will be shown in China on September 23, and sales of the new products will start on September 29. If the information is accurate, Huawei will start sending out invitations to the event in the coming days. 

What to expect

Recall, in the new line of smartphones will be at least two models: Huawei Nova 9 and Huawei Nova 9 Pro. The devices will look like flagships Huawei P50, as well as the yet unannounced Huawei Mate 50. The base model is credited with a Snapdragon 778G chip and 66W fast charging. The top-end model, on the other hand, will boast of a more powerful SoC and a 100W fast charging battery.
