What happened?

Redmi K20 Pro owners report that after installing MIUI 12.5, the smartphone started losing battery power quickly and charging slowly, despite supporting 27-watt wired charging.

The same problem has been noticed by Redmi Note 10 Pro owners. It appeared after installing MIUI 12.5 software number v12.5.4.0. According to users, overnight the battery discharges by 17-20%. In this case, the smartphone heats up. Sometimes resetting to factory settings and prohibiting applications to run in the background helps to solve the problem.

The third model, which began to run out quickly after switching from MIUI 12 to MIUI 12.5 - Redmi Note 10. Moderators of the official MIUI forum note that Xiaomi is already aware and is preparing a new software build to solve the problem.
