Low-cost Samsung smartphones will get Android 14

Samsung a few weeks ago Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G - Snapdragon 778G, 64MP camera with OIS, 120Hz screen and IP67 protection at £409. The novelty, along with seven other mid-range models were included in the program of three major software updates.

What does this mean?

Samsung Galaxy A52s came out with Android 11 operating system right out of the box. This means that the novelty will get Android 14 OS in the future. This will not happen before 2023 at the earliest. Note that Android 14 will be the third update for Samsung Galaxy A72 and Galaxy A52 4G / 5G, which were announced this spring.

Three versions of the Android operating system will also get the Samsung Galaxy A71 4G / 5G and Galaxy A51 4G / 5G models, which were unveiled in late December 2019. But since they came out with Android 10, the latest revision of the "green robot" for them will be the Android 13 version. Its release is scheduled for next year.
