Huawei continues to distribute the proprietary HarmonyOS operating system for its older and newer smartphone models. Now the Huawei P20 series is next in line .

Only beta

For now, this is just an internal beta HarmonyOS that not everyone will get . The company is only recruiting 2 thousand beta testers. Open beta testing enrollment is expected to begin in mid-September.

Beta HarmonyOS 2.0.0.188 (C00E185R1P5) is available for the following models:

Huawei P20 (EML-AL00)
Huawei P20 (EML-TL00)
Huawei-P20 Pro (CLT-AL00, CLT-AL01, CLT-AL00l)
Huawei P20 Pro (CLT-TL00, CLT-TL01)

The latest version in mainly includes August security patches and optimizes the stability of the entire system. It is promised that with new software, the series, despite the fact that it is more than 3 years old, will be as good as new.
