Vivo held a presentation today in China, where it unveiled X70 family of smartphones. In addition to the top model X70 Pro+, it included Vivo X70 and Vivo X70 Pro.
What is the same and in different?
Externally, both smartphones look like twin brothers. Primarily because of the same displays: both Vivo X70 and Vivo X70 Pro use a 6,56-inch AMOLED display with 120 Hz sweep rate. In general, like the predecessors of the X60. Both have the same 32-megapixel front-facing camera, put into the center of the screen.
The main difference lies in the cameras, on which Vivo staked. Vivo X70 is more simple: a 40 main sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide lens and 12 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. Vivo X70 Pro has four modules: 50 sensor, 12 MP "wide angle", 12 MP telephoto lens and 8 MP periscope with 5x optical zoom. Both are equipped with quality optics from the German company Zeiss.
Recall, Vivo X70 is the brand's first smartphone with the recently introduced Vivo V1 proprietary image processor, which should improve night photography and video capture. But only X70 Pro and X70 Pro+ are equipped with the processor.
The platforms of smartphones are also different: Exynos 1080 in X70 Pro and Dimensity 1200 from Mediatek in X70. Considering that the X70 Pro+ got Snapdragon 888+, it turns out that all three representatives of the family use chips from different manufacturers.
In terms of battery life, Vivo X70 has 4400 mAh battery, Vivo X70 Pro has 4500 mAh battery. Both come with 44W fast charging.
In addition, Vivo X70 Pro body is protected against water according to IP68.
