Users are complaining about annoying ads on Xiaomi TVs. The company promises to look for a "golden mean"

Owners of Xiaomi smartphones have long complained about a large number of ads in the MIUI shell. But there are also complaints about ads on "smart" Xiaomi TVs and Redmi.

What's not

 right?

During a recent communication with users, Xiaomi TV received complaints about ads from customers in China. Why only in China? The thing is that in international market, the company uses Android TV and does not show ads. But here are TVs with MIUI for TV in. China shows ads, banners and pop-ups. And before, these ads couldn't even be skipped.

After receiving negative feedback, Xiaomi representatives said that they are working hard to balance ads and user experience as much as possible for a better experience. Simply put - the company has no plans yet to remove ads from their TVs.

Hopefully, Xiaomi will not adopt this practice to other markets.
