South Korean company Samsung announced a mid-range smartphone Galaxy M22.
The novelty has a 6.4-inch HD+ display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution with relatively wide screen frames and a drop-shaped cutout for a 13-megapixel image sensor. The main camera combines a 48MP main module with an 8MP ultra-wide angle and a pair of 2MP sensors for macro and background blur.
The Samsung Galaxy M22 features a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The hardware platform is built around the old Helio G80 processor. The chip debuted back last year in the Redmi 9. The single-chip system is based on 12nm technology and works in tandem with 4GB of RAM. The storage capacity was 128GB.
The model boasts a lateral biometric sensor, a headphone jack, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, NFC and USB-C. The smartphone will go on sale with One UI 3.1 firmware powered by Android 11.
When to expect?
Samsung Galaxy M22 is expected to hit the market by the end of this month. The price of the smartphone will be announced by the company closer to the arrival of the new product on sale. Blue, black and white colors will be available to customers.
