Huawei introduced its own operating system HarmonyOS 2.0 in early June. It's been just over three months - and it continues to set new records for the number of users.
At today's presentation, Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO Yu Chengdong (Yu Chengdong) said that the number of HarmonyOS 2.0 users has already surpassed 100 million. And yet only recently he reported that the user base has reached 90 million. It turns out that in just 10 days an additional 10 million devices have joined OS .
Earlier, a representative of the Chinese company reported that 8 new users join HarmonyOS 2.0 every second. But and Huawei's plans are pretty ambitious - to reach 300 million devices connected to HarmonyOS 2.0 by the end of the year. And given that pace, that goal seems pretty realistic.
By the way, HarmonyOS supports older smartphone models, so the user base is constantly growing.
