While Apple is actively preparing for its big fall presentation, one of co-founders Steve Wozniak unexpectedly decided to compete with Ilon Musk and Jeff Bezos - he announced the creation of private space company Privateer Space.
What is it?
Wozniak co-founded the company with Alex Fielding, CEO of robotics company Ripcord. There is little information about it yet, but the Apple co-founder promises that the company "is not like other ".
The network also published a video about Privateer Space, which promises "to make space safe and accessible to all humanity". In general, the video sequence shows slices of rocket launches, a network of satellites in orbit and various cataclysms, but reveals almost nothing about the company itself.
Details should be revealed at the AMOS conference to be held this week in Hawaii.
