Realme to introduce 4K Google TV Stick for $40

Realme is preparing to announce its first TV set-top box in the form of a USB stick. It will enter the market as Realme 4K Google TV Stick and will try to compete with Xiaomi Mi TV Stick.

The upcoming novelty will use a 16GB storage capacity, but users will have 12GB available for software installation. That said, the Xiaomi Mi TV Stick is equipped with an 8GB flash module, which many users complain about. But Chromecast with Google TV offers only 5 GB of free space.

We'd also like to mention Android TV software, 2GB RAM, HDR10+, Wi-Fi 5 and HDMI 2.1. More information about the specifications of Realme 4K Google TV Stick is not yet available. But from the name it is clear that the TV set-top box will support 4K UHD. The announcement is expected on September 24. The model is expected to go on sale for around $40.

Recall, Xiaomi Mi TV Stick in Europe unveiled in the summer of 2020. The manufacturer's recommended price was €40.
