YouTube Music app for Wear OS - no longer exclusive to Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch

About a month ago, Google released the YouTube Music app for Wear OS. But so far it was only available on the new smartwatch Samsung Galaxy Watch 4.

Who else will get it?

Recall, YouTube Music Wear is installed as part of the full version of the app available on Google Play. In addition to the basic features, it has a Smart Downloads option that allows you to automatically select new music tracks and save them to your watch's storage via Wi-Fi.

The YouTube Music version for Wear OS is available and for Wear OS 3.0, running only on Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 (for now), and for other models with older Wear OS software.

Google said today that the app is now available for some smartwatches, other than the Galaxy Watch 4. The following models are on the list:

• Fossil Gen 6
• Michael Kors Gen 6
• Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3
• Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 LTE
• Mobvoi TicWatch E3

And by the company promises to expand support for more devices with Wear OS.
