Hisense, as promised, held an event in China to announce its new flagship TV.
The novelty was called Hisense Vidda 85V1F-S Smart TV and it got an 85-inch screen with LCD matrix, 4K resolution, and 120 Hz picture refresh rate. The display supports MEMC technology and covers 97% of the entire front panel area. In the LED backlight of the device uses a high-quality red phosphor, which, according to the company, increases the value of BT.709 color gamut to 130%. This is 30% higher than conventional TVs.
As far as the core is concerned, Hisense Vidda 85V1F-S Smart TV is powered by a four-core Cortex-A73 processor. The novelty still comes with 3GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, as well as stereo speakers of 18W each and a 25W subwoofer. The audio system supports Dolby Atmos, Viper, and Dolby + DTS.
Of interest, the novelty includes support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), low latency HDMI 2.1 interface, Apple AirPlay, and the ability to connect to Tencent's cloud-based gaming platform START.
Price and when to expect
The Hisense Vidda 85V1F-S Smart TV has been priced at $1315, but the TV will be sold in China for $1240 on pre-order.
