Ukraine tops country ranking for cryptocurrency ownership

Triple A payment platform has ranked countries by cryptocurrency ownership, with Ukraine in first place.
According to Triple A, Ukraine has 5,565,881 cryptocurrency owners. This is times less than in India, Russia, the US and Nigeria, but 12.73% is the highest of all countries.
The second position was taken by the Russian Federation with 17,379,175 digital currency owners (11.91%). Venezuela (2,941,502 and 11.34%), Kenya (4,580,760 and 8.52%) and the United States (27,491,810 and 8.31%) were also in the top 5.
Residents of Ukraine were able to earn $400 million from investing in Bitcoin during 2020, with government officials confirming that they own over $2.6 billion worth of BTC in early 2021.
