Source: iPhone SE 3 will get old design, Touch ID and chip like iPhone 13

The Japanese publication Macotakara, citing a reliable source, has reported details about the new cheapest smartphone from Apple.

What is known

Naturally, we are talking about the third generation iPhone SE. The new one, according to the leak, will get exactly the same design as the current model. The device will also have 4.7-inch LCD-display and Touch ID fingerprint scanner, built into the home button.

On the front end, the new Apple A15 Bionic processor will power the smartphone. By the way, the same chip stands in the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The SoC will be paired with Qualcomm's 5G modem Snapdragon X60.

According to the source, production of the iPhone SE 3 will start in December this year, and the smartphone is scheduled for release in spring 2022. The price tag of the new product is not likely to change.
