An Indian user decided to save money on iPhone 12 and bought model as part of Big Billion Days promotion, but got two pieces of soap instead of a smartphone.

What happened

Amazon, eBay, JD and AliExpress, although they are well-known platforms, users are not immune to fraud. An unpleasant case happened to an Apple tech enthusiast from India. He decided to order an iPhone 12 on Flipkart at a discount as part of the Big Billion Day promotion.

The user came to the delivery point and shot the unpacking of the parcel on video. Instead of an iPhone 12, the box turned out to contain two pieces of soap. Having refused to enter a one-time password to confirm the receipt of the order, the fraud victim repeatedly contacted the Flipkart support service. Within two days, the order was cancelled and the user received the money to his account.
