Vivo Y20T: Snapdragon 662 processor and 5000 mAh battery for $200

Vivo has announced its new budget Y-series smartphone in India.

What is known

The novelty was named Vivo Y20T. The device is very similar to the Vivo Y20 model, but differs from it in the processor. Instead of the Snapdragon 460 chip, the smartphone was equipped with the Snapdragon 662 SoC. The device also got more RAM - 6GB (+ 1GB of virtual RAM).

As for the other specs, they remained the same. Vivo Y20T has a 6.51-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, a 5000 mAh battery with 18-watt charging, a headphone jack, FM radio, 64GB expandable storage, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device runs out of the box on Android 11 operating system with a proprietary shell.

Price and when to expect

Vivo Y20T has already started selling in India. The asking price is $200 USD.
