No sooner had Apple started selling the Apple Watch Series 7 smartwatch than details about the next generation of the device have already emerged online.
According to aboutagain Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) CEO Ross Young, Apple plans to introduce the Apple Watch Series 8 in three sizes next year. What sizes Young didn't say exactly, but it's safe to presume the largest version will be larger than 45 mm.
In case you didn't know, Apple smartwatches have always sold in two sizes. Before the Apple Watch Series 4, the company's smartwatches had 38mm and 42mm cases, but then they were increased to 40mm and 44mm, and with the release of the Apple Watch Series 7 to 41mm and 45mm respectively. By the way, all Apple Watch models have compatible straps.
