The developers of the popular Action/RPG Genshin Impact have released an update for iOS that brings 120Hz refresh rate support to "some devices".
There aren't many devices in Apple's range that are equipped with 120Hz matrix. These include the 2021 and 2020 iPad Pro tablets, as well as the recent iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. They were the first devices in the world to run Genshin Impact at over 60 FPS. Since the game is available on many platforms, the developers have decided to limit the framerate to 60 FPS (up to 30 FPS on PS4).
The v2.2 update for iOS brought a few more innovations. The list of changes includes the Thoma character, the Tsurumi Island arena, as well as new stories, events, monsters and weapons.
