Battery capacity of Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Ultra and Xiaomi 12 Pro became known

The Xiaomi 12 flagship will premiere this quarter and will be joined by the more advanced Xiaomi 12 Pro and Ultra smartphones next year. A Chinese insider revealed the battery capacity of the upcoming new products before the announcement.

What is known

Xiaomi 12 should be the first smartphone with Snapdragon 898 processor. Previously, it was attributed battery of 5000 mAh. According to the new information, the battery capacity will be 4,700mAh, which is only 100mAh more than the Xiaomi 11 flagship.

Insider reports that the Xiaomi 12 Pro will also feature a 4700mAh battery. This is a bit odd as the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro uses a 5000mAh battery.

Finally, the battery capacity in Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra will not change compared to its predecessor and will be 5000mAh. And the wired charging power will increase from 67W to 120W. It's a record so far, but Realme is already preparing to announce smartphone with 125W charging.
