Mark Gurman: The new MacBook Pro will come with Apple's M1 Pro and M1 Max processors

Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, a few hours before Apple's presentation, has published another detail about the new MacBook Pro.

What

Initially it was supposed that the laptop will get M1X processor, but according to the new report this is not the case. The new SoC will be called the M1 Pro. In addition, it may come out in two versions. The second one will be called M1 Max. The first version of the chip is likely to have a 16-core GPU, while the more powerful M1 Max model will get a 32-core video accelerator.

Recall, if previous leaks are to be believed, the new MacBook Pro will have displays at 14 and 16 inches with miniLED matrix, 120Hz refresh rate and notch. It has up to 30 hours of battery life, an iPhone 13 and iPad Pro-like flat-edge design, MagSafe charging, and multiple USB-C and HDMI ports. Moreover, Apple is going to remove Touch Bar and replace it with physical buttons.
