Xiaomi unveiled Redmi Router AX1800 with Wi-Fi 6 support and $36 price tag

Xiaomi at the presentation on October 20 introduced not only a line of smart TVs Redmi Smart TV X 2022, but also a new inexpensive router.

What is known

The novelty was named Redmi Router AX1800. The device has received a minimalistic white housing and four antennas with a gain of 5 dBi. They support LDPC error correction algorithm and Wi-Fi 6 with OFDMA technology (multiple access with orthogonal frequency division of channels).

The gadget runs on an unknown dual-core processor. The router also has 128 MB of RAM, 1 WAN port and 3 LAN ports. Naturally, the novelty is configured through a proprietary application on the smartphone.

Price and when to expect

Redmi Router AX1800 have already started selling in China. Now for the device are asking $33, but then the price tag will increase to $36. By the way, on the global market sells similar router model, but under the brand name Mi.
