Rumor: iQOO Neo 6 SE will be the first smartphone with Snapdragon 778G+ chip on board

The company Qualcomm a few days ago introduced four new processors, including the SoC Snapdragon 778G+. Now there is information online about which smartphone will get it first.

What is known

According to an insider from the social network Weibo, the new chipset will debut in the Vivo smartphone, namely in the iQOO Neo 6 SE model. To recall, the Snapdragon 778G+ is a slightly improved version of the regular Snapdragon 778G. It is built on the same 6-nanometer tech process, but boasts of higher frequency cores. For example, the Kryo 670 Prime core now runs at at 2.5GHz (instead of 2.4GHz). Thanks to this, the performance of the processor should increase by up to 20%.

Unfortunately, there are no details about the smartphone itself. Only we know that the device will be released on the market in three colors. It should be presented in the near future.
