The Squid Game series has a SQUID cryptocurrency - it went up 2,400% in 24 hours

The South Korean TV series "Squid Game" has got its own digital currency. It's called SQUID and has risen in value dozens of times overnight.

What is known

The cryptocurrency was registered on October 20, 2021. All the coins were sold out in just 1 second. From October 27 to 28 its value increased by 2400%, reaching $2.22.

The growth didn't end there. On October 29, 2021 at 11:00 am Kiev time, the cryptocurrency rate rose to $3.54. At the time of writing, SQUID has risen by another $0.68. At the moment of publishing this news the price is $4.22.

True, some users had problems when trying to sell the cryptocurrency on the Pancakeswap exchange. This is reported by CoinMarketCap. What this is related to is not yet known.
