Burger King will give away more than $2.6 million in cryptocurrency to customers

Fast food chain Burger King began giving away cryptocurrency to customers on November 1. Customers will receive a total of more than $2.6 million through the app within three weeks.

What's known

The cryptocurrency will go to customers who have spent $5 or more in Birger King's software. The restaurant chain will be giving users whole coins. One in 10,000 customers is promised an Ethereum coin. One in 100,000 customers will get a whole Bitcoin. The majority will get Dogecoin.

Burger King plans to give away 20 Bitcoin coins, 200 Ethereum and 2 million Dogecoin in three weeks. In monetary terms - $1.235 million, $874,336 and $548,400 respectively at the exchange rate at the time of writing. Thus, the restaurant chain will pay a total of $2,657,736 to customers.
