Hit Redmi will soon get a stable global MIUI 12.5 firmware

Xiaomi has prepared a software update for one of the best-selling smartphones in the history of the Redmi brand.

What is known

It is a regular Redmi Note 8 with a 48-megapixel main camera, Snapdragon 665 processor and without NFC. In the near future, the smartphone will get a global stable firmware MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 operating system numbered v12.5.1.0 RCOMIXM. When the update will be released is not specified yet.

Recall that the smartphone was released in the fall of 2019 with MIUI 10 software preinstalled. The shell was based on the operating system Android 9.0 Pie. The upcoming update could be the last major update for the Redmi Note 8.
