By in fact, this is an analogue of the Samsung Edge Panel function, then there is a side panel. The Chinese company named it Smart toolbox, and even though the option is still on testing stage, its the name was changed to Sidebar).

The new name appeared along with an update to the MIUI Security app, which increased the version to V5.8.1-211123.

V the official changelog mentions renaming said function, fixing known bugs and improving overall productivity.

Now, most likely, the sidebar will be slightly modified with taking into account the reviews of the first users.
