Xiaomi has completed development of MIUI 12.5 ahead of the announcement of MIUI 13

Xiaomi is no longer developing test versions of MIUI 12.5 software. The latest build is numbered v21.12.8 and was released yesterday, December 8th.

Formally, the development of test versions ends on December 13th. The company will now focus on the new firmware version - MIUI 13. The announcement is expected at the end of this month along with the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12X smartphones. Users learned about the termination of development of MIUI 12.5 Beta from the changelog for firmware v21.12.8.
