For Xiaomi Mi A3, an update was released under the number v12.0.17.0 RGQMIXM. MI symbols mean that we are talking about a global firmware. It is based on the Android 11 operating system.

The update is sent by air. It brings the December 2021 OS security patch. Usually, such updates are about 100 MB in size, but the current version of the software "weighs" 458 MB. What the update brought in addition to the December security patch is not specified.
