In 2022, Samsung plans to significantly update the Galaxy A line. One of the top models in the series will be the Samsung Galaxy A83.

What is known

The upcoming novelty can be considered the successor to the Galaxy A80 smartphone. It was introduced in 2019 and received a flip camera that played the role of both the main and the front one. The company did not present the Galaxy A81 and Galaxy A82 models, and now it is preparing the Galaxy A83 right away.

The smartphone will be equipped with a conventional 10 MP front camera embedded in the display. The screen will be based on a Quad HD + OLED panel with a built-in fingerprint scanner. The image refresh rate will be 120 Hz.

Note that Quad HD + resolution is hard to believe. Especially if you remember that the flagships Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 + will be equipped with Full HD + matrices.

Samsung Galaxy A83 promises a triple main camera, the crown of which will be a 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN5 image sensor, a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh to 5000 mAh and IP67 water protection. The smartphone will remain without a headphone jack and, apparently, will hit the market with Android 12 and One UI 4.0.
