OnePlus developers have rolled out a new system update for OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro.

What is known

The firmware was released with the OxygenOS build number 11.0.5.1 and weighs from 82 to 173 MB (depending on the model). The December security patch was installed in the software, which closes some system vulnerabilities. In addition, the developers have improved the stability of smartphones and fixed one critical error due to which some device owners were unable to send and receive files in the app WhatsApp.

When to expect

As usual, the new version of the software is being distributed in waves. If you do not want to wait for your turn, then the firmware can be downloaded through the application Oxygen Updater and install manually.
