Prediction: iPhone 14 Pro will be the first Apple smartphones with a record 8 GB of RAM

More and more details about Apple's 2022 smartphones, the iPhone 14 line, continue to appear on the network. This time, the Haitong International Securities report, or rather, analyst Jeff Pu, got into the MacRumors edition.

What to expect?

So, the analyst predicts that the new iPhones will receive a record amount of RAM for Apple smartphones - 8 GB. The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro currently have the largest amount of RAM at 6GB. Of course, they lag far behind competitors, which have 6 GB - the required minimum, and the maximum reaches 12 or even 16 GB.

However, the increased amount of RAM is attributed only to the older models - iPhone 14‌ Pro and iPhone 14‌ Pro Max. As a reminder, four models are expected in the lineup: 6,1-inch iPhone 14‌, 6,7-inch iPhone 14‌ Max, 6,1-inch iPhone 14‌ Pro and 6,7-inch iPhone 14‌ Pro Max. Most likely, the younger versions will remain with less RAM and ROM reserves.

The forecast also says that the iPhone 14‌ Pro and iPhone 14‌ Pro Max will receive triple cameras with a 48MP main sensor, 12MP wide and a telephoto lens. Actually, as another analyst said earlier Ming Chi Kuo (Ming-Chi Kuo). By the way, he also assured that 48 megapixel the lens of the device will support 8K video recording.

Another prediction by Jeff Poo is that the entire iPhone 14 lineup will feature 120Hz displays, although reliable analyst and insider Ross Young has different information. The standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max models will use 60Hz displays, he said.
