GitHub user widevinedump managed to create a DRM hacking tool that is used in many online cinemas, including Netflix, Disney +, Apple TV and HBO Max.

What we know

A special code allows you to download 4K content from streaming services that use Widevine technology. With the help of a script, you can download to your device any movie or series available in the online cinema.

However, for the tool to work properly, you will have to purchase a content decoding module (CDM). Widevinedump sells it separately. At the same time, the author emphasized that CDM will only work for several days, since services can track the use of such tools.

Note that for violation of the DMCA, a law that complements the law of the United States in the field of copyright, there are serious penalties - from fines to imprisonment for up to 10 years.
