Samsung has permanently closed the branded application store Tizen Store

Samsung has announced that it will end support for the Tizen Store for smartphones with Tizen OS.

The last smart phone with Tizen OS appeared back in 2017 - Samsung Z4. The company's smartwatch already runs Wear OS 3. At the same time, Tizen OS is only available on TVs with Eden.

In late spring 2020, Samsung released the Tizen OS 6.0 operating system, and last month, the manufacturer began distributing an update to the Tizen Studio development environment. In the summer of 2021, the company banned the connection of new users to the service, and since December 31, the download and update of software on smartphones with Tizen OS has been blocked.
