Meta has unveiled AI-powered image editing tools for Facebook and Instagram that will allow you to make changes to photos using text prompts.
Here's What We Know
The first tool has been named Emu Edit. It will give the ability to edit images precisely, describing the necessary edits with text.
For example, you can turn a dog into a panda or add an inscription to clothes. In this case, the user will not need to manually select fragments.
The second tool Emu Video will be able to generate short videos based on text description or reference frames. So far, the results don't look too realistic, but they are significantly better than Meta's previous attempts in this area.
The company did not say when the new features will appear on Facebook and Instagram. Meta has previously announced the development of AI-based tools for content creators.
Emu Edit and Emu Video are expected to expand the use of generative AI technologies in the company's social networks.
