One UI 5 surpassed previous updates in speed and scope, but Samsung is not happy and wants to be even faster with Android 14

Google released Android 13 in mid-August, and already on October 24 the first update to Samsung One UI 5 based on Android 13 was released for the Galaxy S22 family. That is, it only took the South Korean manufacturer about two months to release a stable version. But next year, Samsung wants to work even faster.

Here's What We Know

Samsung says in a new press release that the One UI 5 rollout based on Android 13 has surpassed previous updates in both speed and scope. And while that's impressive, the company wants future updates to be even faster and the Android 14 rollout to perform better.

To achieve this goal, Samsung will continue to strengthen its partnership with Google and listen to user feedback.

Samsung also said the Galaxy A52s 5G and Galaxy A32 are next in line to get One UI 5 with Android 13 by the end of the year, along with the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The mass release of the new software for the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 families worldwide will take place by the end of this month.
