Google announced the Wear OS 4 update for the original Pixel Watch: what's new and when to expect the firmware

Google unveiled the Pixel Watch 2 with Wear OS 4 on the boro in early October, and now it has released a new software version of the original smartwatch.

Here's What's New About It

Wear OS 4 is based on the Android 13 operating system. The firmware boasts a new set of Tiles widgets, updated branded apps, improved security, a pre-installed Google Calendar app, and a feature that allows you to connect the watch to a new smartphone without a data reset. When We Can Expect It

The firmware has been given the build number TWD4.2301005.002 and it has already started rolling out to devices around the world in waves.
