Google announced the Wear OS 4 update for the original Pixel Watch: what's new and when to expect the firmware

Google unveiled the Pixel Watch 2 with Wear OS 4 on the boro in early October, and now it has released a new software version of the original smartwatch.

Here's What's New About It

Wear OS 4 is based on the Android 13 operating system. The firmware boasts a new set of Tiles widgets, updated branded apps, improved security, a pre-installed Google Calendar app, and a feature that allows you to connect the watch to a new smartphone without a data reset. A more detailed list of new features is available on Google's website.

When We Can Expect It

The firmware has been given the build number TWD4.2301005.002 and it has already started rolling out to devices around the world in waves.
