Huawei this spring announced in China the budget tablet MatePad SE, and now has released the novelty outside of the Celestial Empire.

Here's What We Know

The device debuted on the global market as the Huawei MatePad C5e. The device has a 10.1-inch display with FHD resolution and IPS matrix. According to the company, it covers 80% of the area of the entire front panel. The novelty has a body with a thickness of 7.85 mm and weighs 480 g. The device comes with 4 GB RAM, 64 GB of storage (+ microSD up to 512 GB) and a proprietary Kirin 710 processor. Unlike the Chinese version, the global one runs Android 12 OS with EMUI 10.1 shell. The novelty has Harman Kardon stereo speakers with proprietary Histen 7.0 technology, LTE support and two cameras: one 2 MP front and one 5 MP main camera.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Huawei MatePad C5e has already started selling in Japan. The device costs from $200. In other countries the tablet will appear a little later.
