LG introduced bendable panels for laptops and smartphones along with new displays for cars

LG presented several new screens for smartphones, laptops and cars. Panels for phones and laptops can be folded.

Here's What We Know

The first novelty is a flexible OLED display with a diagonal of 17". It is focused on laptops. The screen supports touch input and work with a stylus. Users will be able to turn the laptop into a tablet or a large monitor.

Another novelty will be a flexible OLED screen, but scaled down to 8" diagonally. The display can be folded 360 degrees. According to the manufacturer, the new panel can withstand more than 200,000 folding cycles without compromising performance. LG calls as a separate feature a new hinge, thanks to which the fold in the center is almost invisible. Looking forward to seeing it in bendable smartphones.

The third novelty is a 34" diagonal display for cars. It is made with P-OLED technology and is the largest screen for cars.
