LG launches SC9S 400W soundbar with IMAX Enhanced certification for $1000
LG has added two 3.1.3 soundbars to its soundbar range, called the LG SC9S and SE6S.
Here's What We Know
The LG SC9S is IMAX Enhanced certified and is compatible with 55", 65", 77" OLED evo C2 and C3 series TVs. The total output power of the sound panel is 400 watts. The South Korean company promises a fully immersive movie or concert experience.
It comes with Dolby Atmos and DTS technologies, and also supports LG's own development work. In particular, WOW Orchestra allows you to distribute sound between the soundbar and TV, Smart Up is responsible for the conversion of two-channel sound in surround, and AI Sound Pro optimises sound, based on the type of content.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The manufacturer's recommended price for the LG SC9S is $1000 / €1000 / £1000 depending on the region. Sales have already started. The company also unveiled the LG SE6S without IMAX Enhanced certification and with only 100W of power. It's priced at $530, but the sales geography was not specified.
