ASUS unveils ROG Swift 4K gaming monitor with Fast IPS matrix and 144Hz frame rate

Taiwanese technology giant ASUS has unveiled several monitors at Computex 2023. The day before, we wrote about the ASUS ROG Swift PG49WDCD. Another new product is the ROG Swift PG38UQ.

Here's What We Know

The monitor features a 38" Fast IPS matrix. The display has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, which corresponds to the 4K ULTRA HD format. The refresh rate is 144Hz, the brightness is 600 nits and the response time is 1ms (GtG).

The ASUS ROG Swift PG38UQ supports HDR, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC. The screen displays 98% of the DCI-P3 colour range. It's worth noting that when using HDMI 2.1 instead of DisplayPort 1.4, frame rates are limited to 120Hz.

Price & When We Can Expect It

ASUS ROG Swift PG38UQ price is not specified. The new monitor will go on sale in the third quarter of 2023.
