ASUS unveils ROG Swift 5K monitor with QD-OLED panel and 144Hz refresh rate

Taiwanese technology giant ASUS has unveiled yet another gaming monitor with a curved panel. The model is called ASUS ROG Swift PG49WDCD.

Here's What We Know

The monitor is equipped with a 49" QD-OLED panel with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 32 to 9. The pixel density is 109 ppi. The matrix has a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a response time of 0.03 ms (GtG), and also supports Adaptive Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies.

The HDMI 2.1 port is ideal for connecting next-generation gaming consoles. The ASUS ROG Swift PG49WDCD also features a DisplayPort 1.4 connector. The USB-C port can also be used to charge devices. Power output is rated at 90W.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The ASUS ROG Swift PG49WDCD launch date is not known yet either. There is no information about the price of the monitor either.
